Reed Finance are delighted to be working with a leading Scottish charity in search of candidates for a newly created Finance Controller position. The successful applicant will be directly responsible for the financial accounting & payroll teams, providing supports, assistance with complex data whilst driving performance. Candidates coming from a not for profit background is desirable but not essential. My client is looking for candidates who are technically very strong with the ability of communicating with different levels of staff. This is a permanent assignment, with interviews being conducted week beginning the 1st of April. A list of the main duties & responsibilities is below; Leading the financial accounting & payroll team Working collaboratively to develop relationships with internal stakeholders Delivering budget & forecasting cycles Overseeing sales invoicing credit control Developing data analysis to optimise the organisations understanding of financial performance Reviewing financial processes Preparing the annual statutory accounts Candidate Qualified Accountant, however candidates who are QBE will also be considered Strong Excel skills & high level analytical skills Excellent communication skills Highly motivated Strong people management skills If this looks like an opportunity that you would be interested in then please apply or contact Roddy Mackenzie - for more information.
