Three60 Recruitment have partnered with a successful international business, who specialise within the software market; and require a results driven, senior accountant to join their team based in the Birmingham area. As an international firm, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of international sites, spotting opportunities to improve processes as you go. Main duties: Leading and supporting a small team, encouraging productivity and efficiency Managing all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems Controlling cash flow and costs via budgeting and analysis Implement operational budgets, benchmarks, program monitoring Reporting monthly and annually Establishing policies, practices, procedures Maintaining and utilising financial law knowledge and keeping updated with future legislation Reporting to senior management Guiding financial decisions Working toward budgeting goals, pro-actively and reactively Payroll Support the wider business with short and long term operational goals National and international travel possible Essential skills, attributes and qualifications: Accounting certification Bachelors degree within accounting Demonstrable working knowledge of finance law 5 years minimum experience in a senior/ managerial accounting role Strong excel knowledge and use of macros Excellent, proven leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team Influential and proactive Full time, Monday to Friday Initial 3 month contract with the view to permanent Day rate to be confirmed but equivalent to £60,000-£75,000 per annum dependent on experience Please apply online today to discuss with one of our Consultants.
