As an established and successful SME, my client has a reputation for supplying the very best products to its clients and as such, they need a Part Time Financial Controller who will ensure that all aspects of the finance function run smoothly and without issues. Managing an Accounts Assistant, the Financial Controller will be responsible for all routines including month and year end, working with the external audit team, overseeing all reconciliations and ledgers, producing management reports, budgeting and forecasting information and working with the wider organisation to ensure that there is a clear understanding of operational decisions from a finance perspective. You will be a qualified accountant and looking to take a part-time role. You will have excellent technical accounting skills, strong systems and excel and the ability to manage and delegate tasks. You will be enthusiastic and keen to be involved in the business, but also task focused and have a track record of hitting deadlines. This is a small and friendly team and your ability to communicate and work with others, whilst forging relationships and influencing when needed, is paramount.
