Our client, a well known and growing company in Daventry are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accountancy team. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk your key responsibilities will be: Taking control and ownership of the purchase ledger. Daily bank postings and monthly reconciliations. Updating cash flow spreadsheet. Payment runs. Assisting with the monthly accruals and prepayment journals. Maintaining fixed asset register. Completing month end tasks in a timely manner. Refine and implement processes within AP Assisting with the year end process and shutdown Entering and coding purchase invoices. Maintaining purchase order systems. Checking supplier statements for missed or unpaid invoices. Entering expenses. The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be: Driven individual. Capable of looking for continuous improvement of reporting and controls. Analytically minded and a logical thinker. Excellent attention to detail Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, Ledger Clerk is desirable
