Assistant Management Accountant Salary £25-30k Benefits Overview of Role: My client is after a talented individual to join them within the next month subject to availability You need to have the desire to make real impact as part of a busy & dynamic finance team as it supports the operational sites distributed across the UK (in excess of six) You will have a real opportunity to make a significant impact on the monthly management accounting production and have the support of a developed function/team Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for: The production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines. Reviewing of monthly accounts to ensure that variances are understood and ultimately drive corrective action where required. Ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are kept up to date each month. Engaging with the businesses operational management teams to ensure that they understand their monthly results and undertaking additional analysis they may require. Calculating and analysing monthly revenue. Undertaking commercial analysis as and where required. Producing performance measurement reports as part of a management accounting pack. Taking a hands-on role in the varied day to day tasks involved in the running of a genuinely busy finance function. The successful candidate will be: Part qualified - studying towards a professional qualification, with CIMA or ACCA preferred. Experienced in management accounts production. Good in Excel, with a desire to build on these skills. Able to analyse numbers to determine any errors and areas of improvement. Capable of working to tight deadlines. Self-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised when required. Diligent with a good eye for detail. Looking for an opportunity to contribute, grow and develop with a business, as part of a busy finance team.
