Purchase Ledger Apprentice - Wakefield Salary is based on the National Apprenticeship rate - £3.90 / hr benefits (for the first 12 months, after which the rate is dependant on age). This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join one of the fastest growing Powered Access companies in the UK and start on the path to a successful and rewarding career. The position will be based from our support offices in Wakefield. We will provide the successful applicants with a structured programme of training, leading to valuable qualifications. The role and ideal candidate: Work towards NVQ Level 2 AAT or Business Administration Valuable practical experience in an office environment You will gain experience in performing general office and purchase ledger duties such as; opening the post, checking all invoices against our purchasing system, inputting invoices into our systems, communicating with colleagues to authorise invoices, registering disputes, answering the phone and dealing with queries You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role You will be outgoing and have excellent communication skills You must be a team player and take instruction well You must have a good telephone manner and computer skills, especially Excel and Outlook A pass in GCSE English and Maths, and a natural affinity for working with numbers AFI Group is a leading provider of access solutions, from the hire and purchase of access equipment, to accredited training and service / maintenance of machines.
