Hoover Candy is currently recruiting a Credit Manager to join our team based in Warrington (WA3 6XG). This pivotal Credit Management role within our growing business, will have the key task of optimizing sales opportunities, cash collection and minimizing bad debts. The successful Credit Manager will be right at the heart of our distribution business and accountable for all credit management and credit insurance processes, ensuring the consistent application of our credit policy, reporting of debtor profile and proactive management of our customer base. This will include continual and ongoing reviews of the customer credit environment and insurance conditions and the individual assessment and approval of new and existing customer credit limits to ensure we appropriately manage risk and maximize our customer sales opportunities. • Degree in a Finance related discipline and/ or CICM Qualification is highly desirable
• Comprehensive knowledge of credit analysis and credit management
• Demonstrable Credit Management experience
• Leadership experience, management and motivation of teams
• Able to fully interpret and communicate complex financial data
• Excellent understanding of credit reporting agency and insurance credit procedures.
• Accounts Receivable management experience; capability to solve disputes and claim
• Excellent organisation skills
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability interact across different areas/ teams.
