A dynamic manufacturer that has been enjoying a period of significant growth is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller, to lead their finance team. The successful candidate will have previous experience of running the full month end process and be comfortable working in a hands-on manner, providing support to various areas of the business where necessary. This opportunity provides a great chance to take full ownership of the finance function, this role would suit a strategic accountant, ideally with previous manufacturing experience. The Financial Controller - Growing Manufacturing Organisation: Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in line with legislation and company policies Issue timely financial statements including balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and consolidate statements Prepare, analyse and present monthly, quarterly and annual operating results including production, efficiency and spending variances Participate in the year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements while supporting external auditors Administer the payroll and maintain the HR files for the employees Supervise accounting staff to assist in processing of transactions Ideally you will have/be: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience of working in the manufacturing environment Strong systems skills, notably MS Excel Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight reporting deadlines Strong communication skills to present to non-finance orientated staff If you have all of the above requirements for the Financial Controller position, then please apply now using the link below.
