LMA Recruitment are recruiting a Financial Controller for a well established, leading Law firm based in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a senior role at a forward thinking in a stable, welcoming finance team. This role is paying between £60,000 to £65,000 per annum Primary Focus of the Role is: Preparation of monthly and quarterly MI including for P&Ls across multiple departments Oversee Balance Sheets, Fee and Working Capital reports FP&A inline with the firm's KPIs and other metrics Management of the firm's annual budget process Provision of financial information to Partners, clients and staff on debtors, fees and time recording Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Responsibility for dealing with any VAT issues Input of monthly payroll into accounting system Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts especially control accounts and integrity checks Management of Fixed Assets register Management of WIP Liaise with the firms technology department to improve and develop management systems, this may include sup Manage month procedure including month end close Assisting FD with ad hoc MI and reporting work Supporting the FD with Audit preparation Responsible for the supervisory of Accounts Assistant Qualifications and Experience Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience working in the legal sector Strong Excel skills
