An opportunity has arisen within a Top 100 accountancy practice for an experienced tax accountant to join the firm as a Tax Associate Director. The role is based at the firm's Oxford office, however, some travel to the London office will be necessary.This appointment is a strategic move for the firm with an eye to the future with a full directorship for the successful applicant. The role requires an ambitious individual with a strong technical background in corporate and personal tax along with the ability and desire to help grow the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the Tax Associate Director will be to: Manage and grow a varied portfolio of tax consultancy clients Advise clients on a full range of personal tax services including CGT, international tax, property tax, tax returns, trusts & estates, IHT, NIC and/or employment related securities taxation and fee protection insurance Advise clients on a full range of corporate tax services including group re-organisations and restructurings, incorporations, international tax, income extraction, tax mitigation, R&D claims and EMI & EIS schemes Review more complex corporate and personal tax returns and computations Line manage and develop the tax team This role would ideally suit a Senior Tax professional from a medium sized or mid-tier firm looking for the opportunity to step up into an Associate Director role with a Directorship and equity career path. To be considered for this position, applicants will satisfy the following: Demonstrable experience of personal, corporate and business tax advisory work Strong international tax advice knowledge and experience e.g. double taxation relief, transfer pricing and capitalisation Significant experience of managing a tax team Be ATT or CTA qualified; in addition, preferably ACA/ACCA qualified This well-established practice will offer a competitive salary (based upon experience) and flexible benefits package, flexible working and a tailored bonus plan.Assistance towards relocation costs will be considered.
