My client is a leading International Engineering company with offices based all over the world. They are currently going through exciting growth within their UK operations and are looking for a commercial Regional Accountant to come on board and join their team. Responsibilities will include
• Prepare and attend active project portfolio reviews with senior project leadership
• Review and challenge project and operational risk and opportunities within the London region and project portfolio
• Preparation and control of the London Management Accounts and Project Accounts
• Preparation of London annual budgets and forecasts
• Presentation of financial analysis and KPIs at monthly Leadership meetings to support monitoring and enhancement of performance
• Review resourcing plans, utilisation and revenue forecasts, highlighting and challenging areas of concern to improve performance
• Monitoring Cash and Invoicing Targets for project portfolio
• Control of and management of regional office costs
• Preparing financial and project reports and presentations when required
• Direct line management of local finance team
• Liaison with other Group and Regional finance teams
• Quarterly WIP reporting for project portfolio
• Preparing any statutory reporting requirement
• Key point of contact for financial issues for the London cost centres
• Compilation of any ad hoc reports and information requests
• Meeting financial deadlines for your region / project portfolio Desirables:
• Experience of professional services or the construction industry would be an advantage
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA - minimum 2 years post qualified experience If this is you, we would love to hear from you You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
