We have a really exciting opportunity with a unique , successful, fast-growing start-up based in London. Due to expansion into Europe they are now looking for a Payroll Clerk to be based in London to cover German Payroll who would like to revolutionize "the future of work" with this innovative company. This role can be based in London or Berlin Duties include: Planning and implementing new financial processes to help Catapult gain a foothold in Germany. Payroll for employees based in Germany and the individual processing and supervision of income tax and social security. Management of the financial day-to-day business of the German division including invoicing and receivables management, correspondence / correspondence with health insurances and authorities. Actively collaborate with Account Management and Operations teams (ensuring employees receive the best possible experience). Supervision of third parties and the German tax office Monthly reporting of the results of the German department to the finance team in England. Settlement of taxable documents and certificates. Settlement of payment transactions. Adjustment of the general ledger and accounting of liabilities and debtors. Preparation of tax back payments and annual statements. To be considered: You must have recent German payroll experience with a strong knowledge of German employment tax, employment and social security legislations. SBS payroll payroll software experience would be hugely beneficial. You must speak excellent German and well as good spoken and written English.
