Wilkinson & Associates and supporting a UK challenger bank as they seek to hire a new IT Audit Manager into their team. Our client continues to develop its product range and how it targets and markets them. The Bank's strategy is to provide a modern and engaging customer experience. Accordingly, Digital, Data and IT infrastructure are at the forefront and as the Bank increases its capabilities in this space, the technology risk landscape evolves and becomes more complex. Not least, the increasing legislation across data privacy and the surge in cyber-attacks mean the Bank has to respond to these challenges. The Internal Audit function adds value by providing assurance on the risk management and control processes as they relate to customer, financial or reputational risk. The Audit Manager is responsible for supporting the Audit Director and Senior Audit Manager in delivering an independent and objective risk-based service designed to systematically evaluate and improve the risk management, control and governance processes. The jobholder will support through leading and delivering allocated audit assignments through the planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up stages with minimal supervision. Also, will deliver audit assignments and reporting through appropriate planning, resource management and appropriate quality assurance of own work and that of more junior colleagues. To be considered for the role you must be / have: CISA, CA, IIA IT Auditing Certificate, CISSP or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential. Strong experience in risk based IT auditing or risk and control activities, ideally in financial services Audit or assurance experience of Cyber risks in a Digital driven business is essential Experience in undertaking change audit assignments essential, e.g. large transformation and/or transition programmes Demonstrated experience in managing business relationships Experience of working in an integrated audit function, working closely with business audit colleagues Experience of building, developing and maintaining audit methodologies and frameworks Experience of working in a largely outsourced environment ideal, including use of Cloud services, but not essential.
