Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working in partnership with a rapidly expanding business based in Stirling to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant is a key member of the Finance team, supporting the Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of management accounts for one or more of the portfolio businesses and will take ownership of all processing and bookkeeping activities. The main duties and responsibilities will involve: Vat preparation and submission Maintain fixed asset registers Provide financial information for Board meetings Assist with the production of monthly management information Performing bank reconciliations The successful candidate will be able to build effective relationships across the group and will be able to liaise confidently with external suppliers. This individual will have the determination to play a key role in a fast-growing business.

Salary:
£20,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
