Job Description The Strategic Account Director will be responsible for managing a portfolio of HCA Healthcare UK's most valued and strategically important corporate clients, with the purpose of delivering HCA primary care services and raising the profile and awareness of HCA Healthcare UK in the corporate market place. HCA Healthcare UK's portfolio of corporate clients resides in the Primary Care, Occupational Health and Corporate Wellbeing businesses within HCA Healthcare UK: Roodlane Medical and Blossoms Healthcare. The Strategic Account Director will manage the strategic relationships within a defined portfolio of key clients and will be accountable for delivering the organisational objectives across 6 key areas of focus:
• A brand ambassador for Primary Care HCA UK
• Creating a relationship strategy, establishing sound relationships with strategic client stakeholders
• Client leadership, facilitating the development of a vision for the retention and evolution of existing relationships
• Exploring HCA cross sell opportunities and identifying any risks to accounts
• New Business Acquisition through tender processes and/ or direct contact via intermediaries/ clients
• Commercial management for the financial performance of the account portfolio The Strategic Account Director represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned clients contracted scope of services and service expectations are met by the business. Delivering (with clinical and operational colleagues input) client focussed and flawlessly executed solutions to meet client's strategic goals and grow the HCA Healthcare UK business. Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Relationship Management (Client and, where appropriate, Intermediary) Ongoing and regular engagement at senior stakeholder level within a Client/Prospective Client to clearly establish client's strategic objectives. Demonstrating knowledge leadership of healthcare industry to Clients, acting as a thought leader and ambassador Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that is aligned with constituent's (client's/intermediary's) objectives, financial position and benefits strategy, while providing profitable revenue and growth to HCA Healthcare UK Tailor messages to effectively engage senior executives on a regular basis Consistently retain 97% of portfolio - (except for strategic losses, or as understood by HCA of client undertaking procurement protocols of changing provider at defined intervals) it is strategically agreed by HCA Healthcare UK not to retain a client Actively promote and deliver a Wellbeing provision to strategic Clients with annual programmes and bespoke onsite services as appropriate Clearly communicate and co-ordinate with HCA Healthcare UK's internal teams to effectively deliver Client's service requirements within agreed service levels, with the aim to exceed expectations Present ideas and solutions based on Client's strategic goals to senior leaders and peers to continually develop HCA Healthcare UK's value proposition and strategic business goals Deliver effective responses and resolutions to all manner of issues arising, and be able to interact with Client's influencers and decision makers, which include HR, Reward and Benefits, Procurement together with relationships at Director level and beyond Negotiate and finalise the renewal of each assigned Client contract and deliver the required business results across 1) Account Retention 2) Account Profitability 3) Relationship Deepening (Cross Sell) 4) New Business Acquisition 5) Client Satisfaction Ability to analyse and present management information and outcomes to key stakeholder groups Proactively and enthusiastically update clients, appointed intermediaries and other external constituents on HCA Healthcare UK's capabilities to create business opportunities Deliver organised, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to the clients' business needs, in collaboration with HCA Primary Care CEO and clinical management team. Builds and maintains productive relationships with clients, intermediaries Builds and executes effective strategic plans for cross-sell opportunities Develops/maintains knowledge, through consultation with the businesses clinical leadership on products, healthcare industry and emerging marketplace trends Champion the needs of assigned clients whilst balancing the needs and dynamics of the business Skills & Experience Educated to degree level Knowledge and understanding of the corporate private healthcare market essential Minimum 5 years' experience of senior account management roles About The Individual Experience in building presentations and presenting to c-level executives. Build rapport and have gravitas with all stakeholders excellent use of Microsoft Packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Able
