Part Qualified Accountant required to join local Charity. Our client a well know charity are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant to join their small friendly team. Working from their offices in Leicester the successful candidate will be assisting the Head of Finance across all areas of the Finance Department and be involved in monitoring, control and reporting of finance activities. The Role: Support the month end close processes Prepare the monthly Finance department KPI's Assist the Head of Finance to generate financial plans, budgets and forecasts Assist with the preparation various adhoc reports Prepare monthly financial results reports and investigate variances Review major cost items on a monthly basis Assist in meetings with managers to discuss budgets Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements and the Charities SORP Assist with preparation of the quarterly VAT return Support the accounts receivable team with collection of debts on an adhoc basis Assist where necessary with monthly payroll process Provide ongoing support to the Head of Finance and Director of Finance Other Adhoc Duties The Candidate: Part Qualification - CIMA / ACCA/ ACA Previous experience with a Finance Department Knowledge and understanding of financial processes Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data Analytical skills and a curiosity to interrogate information Initiative and self-motivation Commercial awareness Ideally, you will: Have knowledge of Charity accounting requirements Demonstrate a knowledge of payroll processes Evidence proven experience of producing management accounts and key performance indicators If you have the relevant experience and are ready for an exciting new challenge, please apply online or call Simon at Paul Mitchell Associates (quoting ref: 11002) on 0116 254 9404.
