Abacus have the pleasure of working with a fantastic, multimillion pound turnover international company based just outside Wellingborough, due to ongoing expansion they are looking to take on board an ambitious Part Qualified ACA/ACCA Assistant Accountant. Reporting in to the UK Financial Accountant your day to day duties would include; Maintaining EMEA ledgers Assistance with implementation, maintenance and improvement of robust month end processes Completion of month end tasks Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard including identifying and rectifying any issues raised Assistance with the interim and year end audit processes for external auditors Posting monthly journals across EMEA and working with external departments to resolve any issues Identify and flag up any issues promptly the financial accountant including any risks or opportunities identified for the group This client is looking for somebody determined, hardworking and career driven. You will have a good understanding of business structure and the importance of accuracy, efficiency with intermediate to advanced Excel. If you have an understating of German language and working with European subsidiaries this would be advantageous.
