A well-established company based in Castle Donington are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their friendly team on a permanent full-time basis. The role will report in to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for chasing outstanding debt as well as allocating payments. Your main duties will include: Chasing outstanding invoices in a proactive manner via telephone, email and letter Agreeing suitable payment terms according to customer's credit ratings Post payments and receipts to sales ledger Account reconciliations Deal with client/customer queries in a timely fashion Working to daily targets Using effective Excel skills to produce weekly reports Issue client statements and letters The ideal applicant will have a strong background in credit control and sales ledger . An AAT qualifi cation or relevant finance degree is desirable but not essential as well as strong IT skills. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000, 25 days holiday Stats, onsite parking and a friendly and supportive office environment . Hours of work are 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
