Accounts Receivable Assistant Full Time, Permanent, Lincoln £Competitive Annual Salary plus excellent benefits Our Lincoln based Client is looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, market leading business who are experiencing a period of growth. The Role Working within a small but extremely busy team, The Accounts Receivable Assistant will be involved in the following key duties: Cash Allocation Allocate incoming cash on a daily basis Process adjustment journals Research and resolve payment discrepancies Invoicing Generate and send out invoices Ensure that invoice requests are raised & sent in a timely manner Credit Control Generate age debt analysis Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities Investigate and resolve customer queries Communicate with customers via phone and email Maintain strong relationships with customers Carry out credit control and reporting activities according to specific deadlines Follow up on payment requests Maintain credit control records for weekly reporting Raise manual credit notes Other Key Duties Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records Process end of day for the bank Assist with month-end closing Sales Ledger and business process improvement Provide cover for other team members Investigate customer claims and challenge where required The Candidate The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous similar experience, ideally within an accounts receivable team in addition to: A high level of attention to detail Excellent communication skills IT literacy (Microsoft Office) plus experience of accountancy systems Being a team player Self-motivated and accountable Being able to create and maintain strong internal and external working relationships Thank you for your interest in this vacancy and good luck with your application.
