ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT, Worsley, £25 - £28k YOUR NEW COMPANY Based in open plan offices in Walkden, within the friendly and sociable Finance team, an Assistant Accountant is required. YOUR NEW ROLE You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, assisting in maintaining accurate and up to date records ensuring the general ledgers are fully maintained, controlled and reconciled, preparing monthly profit and loss accounts within agreed timeframes, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing and posting month end journals, prepayments and accruals preparation and analysis and supporting with year end, purchase ledger and the annual forecasting process. WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED Our client is seeking someone with strong communication skills, excellent Excel knowledge and previous experience working in a busy finance team. It's also desirable to have knowledge of month end account reconciliations, preparing VAT returns and using Sage 200.
