The client is looking for a Finance Director based in Telford. The Finance Director will be responsible for the efforts, results, and success of the organisation's finance department. The FD will also provide financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions. Key
Responsibilities:
Leading and developing the finance team. Ensuring that the company's financial systems are efficient and effective for current activity and future growth Ensuring timely and accurate billing and measure against targets Supporting the CEO in development of strategy and the financial metrics Preparation of annual plans and budgets for each company within the two divisions Monthly presentation to the CEO analysing results, trends, drivers of revenue, gross profit and costs, cash flow and working capital management, capex and risks opportunities and plans to meet full year targets Maintain a policy manual for the finance department The successful candidate: Ability to manage a diverse range of small businesses Strong IT skills, always being ahead of new technologies Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification At least 5 years' experience in a similar role Benefits: Excellent package on offer Company benefits Generous pension scheme
