Credit Control Manager - Grimsby - £30,000-£40,000 (Depending on experience) Chase and Holland are proud to be working exclusively with this reputable international manufacturing business in the Grimsby area who are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager/ Team Leader to join their friendly, motivated finance team on a minimum 9-12 month basis in this key role. It is vital that you have a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of the full Credit Control function and are willing to work within a busy but exciting role. It is imperative that you have worked in a similar Credit Control Team Leader or Manager position previously as you will manage the team, maximise debt collection and minimise overdue debt for multiple UK sites. Responsibilities:
Manage, motivate and develop a team of credit controllers, overseeing multiple ledgers to meet all organisational goals and objectives Identifying and utilising the skills and abilities for each member of your team to get the best out of each person Manage relationships with collection agency and credit reporting agency Working in partnership with the sales department and other group entities to drive performance and achieve the best results Ensuring compliance with corporate credit policy, making recommendations to Senior management team Personally overseeing relationships with the largest key customers including visiting to establish relationships Monitor credit reviews applications for late payment fees Manage payment and cash collection process Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on aged debt, overdues and KPIs Developing credit control processes, systems and procedures within the business Overseeing allocation of payments on receipt The ideal candidate will have: Solid credit control or sales ledger experience, including managing a team Multi-currency and multi ledger experience in a high volume environment A passionate, driven leader who has the emotional intelligence to develop your team to be their best and achieve results Change management skills and a continuous improvement mentality Solid customer negotiation skills and managing key customer relationships Commitment to the contract and ideally available on a short notice In return you will receive: By way of reward you will be offered a competitive salary and exceptional benefits including potential bonus, 25 days holiday & bank holidays and contributory pension.
