Our client is a multi-award winning Plc based in London. They are looking to appoint a commercial director to control and lead multiple trading areas of their growing business. Successful and diverse portfolio investment has seen the company's growth exceed projections over the past 2/3 years. Role: Develop appropriate commercial solutions for the business taking account of issues related to Sales, Delivery, Legal, Finance and Risk Develop and expand the commercial knowledge of the commercial team Contract and tender analysis, production and pitch work with key operational stakeholders Continuously analyse, improve and innovate on existing processes and strategy Work with cross-functional teams to determine requirements for compliance with applicable regulations, changes in regulations and other emerging market trends. Re-negotiation of major contracts, such as extensions and major changes Candidate: Extensive commercial leadership experience in the negotiation, shaping and winning of large Applications Development A strong financial background is required as you will be monitoring and forecasting the commercial budget alongside developing and negotiating commercial agreements Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain healthy relationships An enthusiastic and wise approach to their daily work in order to motivate and develop his/her team effectively Strong numeracy skills and a good understanding of finance and accounting principles
