SALARY:
£18,000 3 MONTH CONTRACT Working within a large and established team that supports the whole of the business, this role plays a critical part in the reconciliation of the company's accounts. Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of the Company's bank accounts from the general ledger to the bank statement
• Logging funds received
• Liaising with the Accounts Payable & Receivable teams regarding bank transactions
• Monitoring and managing bank transactions including bank charges, interest, bank guarantees and direct debits
• Reconciliation and reporting of the Company's foreign exchange position
• Forecasting and reporting on the Company's cash position to enable funding decisions
• Reconciliation of the Company's futures position from broker statements to general ledger
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Ad-hoc work on projects and general support of the accounting team, to include coding of supplier invoices and payment run approvals Requirements:
• Possess a confident and professional manner with strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to those with a non finance background
• The ability to produce accurate work with a high attention to detail
• PC literate with experience of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
• Previous experience in an accounting environment is essential
• Treasury experience in particular is desirable
• Experience in foreign currency transactions would be advantageous
