Investigo have been engaged by a large Leicestershire based Logistics business to recruit a Finance Manager, on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the running of a safe and efficient finance function, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the business and the customer. They will provide financial management, governance and support as a business partner, identifying, recommending and managing solutions to minimise financial and commercial risk and improve efficiency, profitability and cash flow. The Finance Manager will ensure that changes to financial requirements are communicated and implemented promptly. They will be responsible for implementing financial strategies, plans and targets to develop existing & new business, whilst ensuring that robust financial solutions are implemented and monitored to optimise profit and minimise associated risk. This role will support the preparation of financial reports, models, budgets and forecasts, working with other stakeholders (e.g. operations, HR, IT, etc.) to ensure profit optimisation. The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual, or someone with strong/broad finance experience from within a Logistics/Supply Chain environment.
