Responsible for the origination and execution of lending and advisory mandates across the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, with a primary focus on the UK). The main objective and purpose of the role is to generate fee and interest income through the successful origination and execution of mandates. In addition to this, the candidate will be expected to help in establishing a strong pipeline of future mandates, and to grow and enhance the Bank's presence within the sector. o With the MD Assist with the origination and leading the execution of lending and advisory mandates in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors; o Oversee the preparation and delivery of pitches for senior debt and advisory mandates, to existing and prospective clients; o Playing a key role in the due diligence process for lending mandates. This will involve leading particular work-streams and will require liaison with and management of advisors and sponsors, as well as assessing and, if needed, challenging the output of advisors to ensure that project risks are fully understood; o Assessing and negotiating complex legal documentation; o Preparation of internal documents such as project summaries, credit applications, business opportunities and other ad hoc analysis, as required, in a timely and efficient manner; o Analysis of financial models, as part of the due diligence process, to ensure that debt terms,covenants, and the due diligence findings are correctly reflected; o Oversee the running and modifying of the Bank's financial models as a key part of advisory mandates. This will involve working with a number of different parties such as, sponsors, auditors and advisors. o Involvement and attendance at client marketing events - both those hosted by the Bank as well as third parties;
