Having recently expanded in terms of both new business and acquisitions, this leading consultancy is renowned for combining expertise, insight and in providing independent investment advice to defined benefit and defined contribution institutional pension schemes As they embark further a rapid expansion programme, they are now seeking an additional Consultant to join a team that has responsibility supporting pension schemes that are both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution in nature. You will be responsible for representing the business by demonstrating their ability to understand the ever-changing pensions industry and develop solutions for each client, where responsibilities can include but not be limited to: The preparation for, attendance at and follow up from client and trustee meetings. Ensuring an ongoing understanding and knowledge of pension and ancillary benefits and the supporting regulatory framework. Drafting papers on topical issues for clients and work with client to develop solutions to address issues Identifying new business opportunities for on existing clients and develop a plan on how to raise and implement Managing own work allocation and prioritisation and is able to effectively delegate and mentor others if required. Attendance at and participation in internal and external technical meetings Drafting minutes of meetings and member communications With experience gained within a similar client led position, where you will now be looking to take the next step in your career, it is essential that you possess understanding and knowledge of pensions and the regulatory framework, coupled with experience of working on defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
