With so many apprenticeship opportunities out there, you need to choose carefully Here at Create Skills we only work with employers who are serious about who they take on as an apprentice and that's why we get so excited about opportunities like this You will complete a work based Business and Administration NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification, which will last 12-16 months. Depending on previous qualifications you will also complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT. Duties to Include: Learn how to accurately post and allocate payments received to relevant customer accounts. Develop the knowledge to effectively process and reconcile credit card payments on a daily basis. Develop the ability to effectively and promptly chase due and/or past payment from customers. Build good relationships with major account customers, in order to obtain payment on time. Understand how to and accurately produce and send out on a regular basis debtor's letters using the relevant IT systems. Develop the understanding of why and how to place accounts 'on stop' and withhold orders once the customers have overstepped their credit terms, liaising with the appropriate personnel to ensure correctly communicated and resolved. Learn how to effectively handle telephone invoice queries; logging and sorting. Work as an effective part of the Accounts team, maintaining good professional relationships with other team members and colleagues. Develop the knowledge and confidence to liaise appropriately and effectively with other departments such as; Sales, Purchasing, Despatch and Admin, when sorting problems and queries, in order to deal with all issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Develop the ability in order to become responsible for investigating and processing new account forms and obtain trade references. Understand how to create and print sales invoices and credits in accordance with Company processes and procedures. Understand how to process purchase orders to purchase invoices and enter manual purchase orders accurately, as and when required. Skills required:
