Butler Rose is pleased to be partnering with a FTSE 250 business with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant based within their fast paced office in Bristol. This is a 3 month temporary assignment so you will need to be immediately available to start. As the Assistant Accountant you will be supporting the Financial Accountant with all aspects of finance and also assist other team areas, such as payroll. Key
Responsibilities:
Set up processes to accurately capture costs into the correct business areas Identify and clear open items on bank reconciliations Support with payroll reconciliations Posting invoices Provide handover and training to outsource provider for new process Drive new processes forward to automate the reconciliation process Any other duties required Key attributes required: To be successful you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role within a commercial environment. Strong Excel Skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables Confident with large datasets Proficient SAP experience (essential) Excellent time management Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
