Our client who is a close, warm and welcoming Accountancy firm are seeking a Junior- Semi Senior Accountant to join their team, this is a great opportunity for somebody who has started their studies, who has had exposure within the industry and wishes to continue their career with expertise and support. The main duties of this role are: - Completion of Financial accounts under supervision - Completion of basic tax calculations and returns under supervision - Completion of VAT returns under supervision - Dealing with Companies House correspondence and returns - Dealing with communication and correspondence when instructed - Organising the office - Managing data - Project work (where applicable) - Assist on larger audit assignments Once experienced in the role duties may include: - Accounts preparation direct to Partner - VAT and Tax computations direct to partner - Book keeping for clients on a monthly and quarterly basis - Ad hoc tax work under instruction - Assist with audit assignments They are ideally looking for someone who is towards the end of their AAT qualification or starting ACCA with experience. The role will offer continuous supported study within AAT in accordance with their study policy, a full training programme which is fully paid for and will then progress to ACCA.
