The purpose of this role is to assist the Finance Director in delivering timely and accurate management information to the business through analysis of business unit performance to support decision making, 50% Finance Business Partnering and 50% client reporting and forecasting. Reporting directly into the Finance Director and Regional Director of Operational Finance, your key responsibilities will include: Month-end closing process such as posting monthly journal entries, revenue entries, accruals, prepayments etc Preparing the budgets & forecasts Assisting with statutory accounting such as VAT returns Overseeing the preparation of sales invoices, following up on overdue debtors Contributing to the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts Completing commercial analysis on new projects and monitoring margins across projects, working with internal project teams Assisting with the statutory audit process Project work such as system implementations and ad-hoc analysis Ideal candidate: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferable) Strong attention to detail Able to build relationships with different departments Hands on approach, willing to contribute to a close-knit team environment
