Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temporary Hitchin/Barton Le Clay £10 - 12 per hour My client based just outside Hitchin is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance team on a temporary basis. This role involves the maintenance of records and accounts concerning the company's purchases and processing of invoices. Duties and Responsibilities Sorting and distributing the Finance post Scanning and validating of all invoice types Processing all types of invoices through to posting Filing of scanned and validated invoices Checking supplier's statements and reconciling supplier's accounts Answering telephone enquiries Sort out supplier problems and queries Dealing with other offices and personnel in both the UK and Europe Requirements: The job holder is required to have: Experience of working in purchase ledger Have good numeracy skills Be highly organised and work thoroughly and accurately Have good IT skills. Have good communication skills Work effectively as part of a team
