The Corporate Finance team is led by the Director of Corporate Finance. The team operates alongside the Finance team and focus on supporting the Group in relation to investment decisions and the strategic direction of the Group, ensuring adequate and appropriate funding is available to the Group. How will you make a difference? Alongside the Senior Investment & Business Analyst produce viabilities for new business opportunities ensuring all risks are considered before business decisions are taken. Monitor and report upon committed and uncommitted investment to ensure that the Group has a robust understanding of private finance requirements. Evaluating and monitoring of approved investment decisions, ensuring that all identified opportunities and risk are consistently evaluated, and noted so they can be used to inform the business on their performance and influence future new business opportunity decisions. Support staff across the Group with evaluating existing and new business opportunities. Assist in producing Pobl Groups 30-year business plan and ensuring it is updated at least semi-annually. To assist with any other 'ad hoc' reporting exercises in line with the level of the role and responsibilities. Who are we looking for? (For more detail see Role Profile): An AAT or part qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years management accounts experience. You will need to demonstrate excellent numeracy and literacy skills with attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities whilst working under pressure.
