This is a 2 month temp role for an established client This role is to support the Accounting Operations manager ensuring the audit is conducted efficiently. It is a project management role that needs an understanding of accounts and how auditors work:
• Be the main contact person for all audit queries
• Ensure all the divisional audit packs are received on time and are complete
• Help produce lead schedules for the audit pack, reconciling the numbers in the balance sheet to the TB
• Pass all auditor queries to the right person, keeping a record and following up as appropriate
• Maintain a progress log throughout the audit
• Assist in the preparation of the subsidiary company accounts
• The person needs charm and tenacity
• You will need to be able to chase and manage the detail of audit questions on accounting issues, but have the ability to also step back and see the issue in the context of the overall accounts Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
