I am seeking an immediately available senior accounts assistant for a 6 month maternity contract in Southwick. My client is looking for someone with proven skills to assistant within this fast paced finance team. - Reporting weekly cashflow actuals and weekly forecasts to head office - Managing supplier payments within 13 week forecasts prepared by FC - Sales Ledger Invoice processing though a MIS system - linked into Sage. - Daily reconciling of sales/invoice financing balances against Sage (Excel reconciliation sheet) - Purchase ledger invoice processing though Sage - Month end reconciliations of Sales Ledger and cash books - Overseeing two part time accounts assistants - Assisting with S/L and P/L statement reconciliations at month end - Driving month end S/L and P/L closedown deadlines - Experience of sales and purchase ledger - Some knowledge of cashflow forecasting - Working knowledge of Sage and reasonable Excel skills - Knowledge of a management information system linking into Sage ideal - Some knowledge of invoice finance/ invoice discounting ideal Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
