About the Role This role is a 3 month temporary financial accountant role, based near Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is to work with the rest of the finance team to help support the year end Audit process. The right candidate Be able to work independently and raise issues early so they can be addressed Hit the ground running and work through tasks with focus and speed Be able to deliver on deadlines and balance workload Key responsibilities Assisting with some specific areas of year end audit schedules - eg Insurance & Intercompany Rolling forward the statutory accounts file Preparing the computations of UK Corporation Tax based on the companies statutory accounts Completing the corporation tax self assessment forms VAT review of 2018 and Q1 2019 calculations to check the VAT returns are accurate Key skills & competencies Qualified ACA or CIMA Previous experience on short term assignments assisting with reconciliations and audit deliverables Previous experience completing tax returns and VAT reviews Excellent communication skills, presenting information clearly and simply with great attention to detail Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
