We are looking for a Financial Analyst for GL&M to join the Finance team within Gaming, Live Events & Merchandising (GL&M) within the Direct to Consumer division. Gaming, Live Events & Merchandising (GL&M) are responsible for monetising our intellectual property and formats from our biggest shows from Downton Abbey and Coronation Street to Ninja Warrior and This Morning. GL&M is at the heart of ITV Direct to Consumer ambitions and the More Than TV strategy, and the GL&M team have been tasked with launching a number of new set tours alongside other opportunities. This is a new role reflecting the growing team, reporting to the Finance Manager, GL&M and will provide financial management and decision support to the Director of GL&M and his team. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Monthly revenue, cost of sales and overhead reporting, monitoring headcount and contractors to budget and understanding variances Contribution to Monthly operating packs for presentation to Business Partners and Senior Finance team members, plus divisional financial reporting requirements Management and design of month-end processes and developing them so they are fit for purpose Management of revenue recognition, invoicing and liaising with third party suppliers. Report and monitor performance for GL&M KPIs Work with the BSC (RTR, payroll, expenses) to ensure transaction reporting is accurate and timely Prepare budgets, forecasts, and 5 year plan Business partner with Heads of and general managers on a regular basis Provision of support to management team in analysing revenue opportunities, managing the cost base and ongoing efficiencies. Assisting Finance Manager with financial models Adhoc analysis from both finance and the rest of the business as required The ideal candidate: Qualified accountant with relevant and proven experience An individual focussed on delivering results with a drive for continual improvements Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to work with different disciplines and varying degrees of seniority A clear thinker, able to analyse, understand and explain financial and business information and performance Well organised with an ability to prioritise effectively and deliver work of a high standard to a tight deadline Adaptable and hard-working Willingness to get 'stuck-in' and support the business and financial teams Good attention to detail Strong Excel and IT skills, experience of using Oracle/Hyperion would be advantageous We love different perspectives and celebrate individuality.
