They are seeking a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to support the CFO and Senior Stakeholders and drive their business strategy. This role will give the incoming candidate the opportunity to drive their career forward and be part of the journey. Role responsibilities will include; Support the heads of departments to review spend compared to budget and forecast Take full ownership for reporting and discussing variance analysis and trends with senior group accounting staff Analysing and interpreting reports relative to budgets and comparatives Production of variance analysis on trends with senior group accounting staff Preparation of monthly accounts for group reporting Overseeing monthly invoicing of clients across a range of product lines Tightly managing departmental budgets in relation to projects and procurement spend Capturing and developing new reporting concepts to aid business decisions Review and implementation of global recharge mechanisms to apportion out group costs to overseas entities Monthly software capitalisation reviews Preparation of annual statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries Preparation of monthly draft tax computation for UK subsidiaries Liaise with auditors and preparation of schedules for auditors Monitoring and developing internal controls and systems Identify and support continuous changes and improvements within the business This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified ACA/CA who is looking to join a business and truly add value from day one.
