Job Description We are recruiting a Head of Payroll Services to lead a team delivering outsourced Payroll services to a range of client companies within Hedge Funds and the successful candidate will be responsible for: Business Planning Strategic planning of technical Payroll function and managing associated costs Co-ordination and implementing Payroll strategy and ownership of client related Payroll budgets and targets and managing client Payroll revenues People Development Leadership role to all Payroll personnel, development planning for Payroll Managers and training of Payroll personnel (internal & client facing) Promoting cross selling behaviours/traits and good multi-disciplinary relations Risk Management Assist Payroll team to resolve client risk issues Quality control oversight & development of strategic solutions to risk issues Line Function (external) First port of call for assistance for client Senior Managers and Directors Oversee the operation of the client account and manage risk and upward management regarding client employee related risks Business Development Brand enhancement and promotion (networking/PR) and leading Payroll business development initiatives Identify areas of opportunity and take a lead in developing "product" to promote within the Firm and to clients Meet with targeted business allocated clients to manage risk and recognise opportunities Qualifications Skills Required Preferably CIPP qualified or exceptionally qualified by experience will be considered Proven excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and coach and support career development of the team Experienced in building relationships internally and externally.
