This is a mixed audit and accounts role reporting to the directors. This is a great opportunity to work for a well-known and expanding practice and take ownership of audits and preparation of accounts for its Limited company, Partnership and PLC clients. As Accounts & Audit Senior, responsibilities will include: To plan, review and finalise audits/accounts preparation assignments Finalisation of financial statements and presentation of files for review Prepare, approve and monitor budget Control and take ownership of audits and accounts preparation Optimisation of the billing and profitability potential of the audit/accounts assignments Some corporation tax computations and submission work as required Communicating regularly with directors/supervisors/managers on progress of work Prepare client letters, emails, engagement letters, money laundering Considered review of junior work Candidates will need to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes: Qualified ACA/ACCA or affiliate Previous experience in a similar role within a chartered practice Adaptable to change, to be flexible and handle difficult situations Open, approachable and well presented Client handling ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients In return, this dynamic accountancy practice can offer a good salary and benefits and a supportive working environment.
