Financial Compliance Officer Salary up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience plus excellent benefits and staff wine allowance. About the role We have an opportunity for a Financial Compliance Officer to join our Corporate Finance Team at our Accolade Park site close to the M5 near Bristol. You will be required to coordinate the various stages of new customer set up ensuring all stakeholders fully understand and meet defined criteria. You will be responsible for maintaining these standards and ensuring all processes are followed in a timely and thorough way and are compliant with risk management requirements. You will also be assisting in the management and improvement of the due diligence and compliance processes required by the business. Manage and improve reporting process to monitor each stage of all new customer set ups. Track each stage of the customer set up process, flagging where time frames are not being met and ensuring all elements of the process meet the standards required. Review all customer set up documentation, checking all requirements are met, ensuring appropriate sign off by the Head of Commercial Finance and collecting additional information when required. Coordinate existing customer reviews by following the internal process, collate all necessary information and ensure the information is sufficient and provided in time. Escalate areas of concern to the Head of Corporate Finance and Head of Commercial Finance as appropriate Prepare all data required for due diligence / compliance review meetings, ensuring content is ready and all information clear ahead of the review. Ensure any changes in customer information are captured and relevant data still collated to ensure compliance Assist in management and improvement of controls and processes required to comply with due diligence requirements Assist in the design and implementation of any new compliance requirements About you Essential knowledge and skills: Coordinating stakeholder activities. Attention to detail. Excellent organisation skills. Compliance integrity. Ability to manage high caseloads. You will also have experience working in a similar compliance role and work to an intermediate level with MS Office. Ideally you will have experience working with HMRC requirements. You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our Weybridge site if required.
