FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - LINCOLN - £42K (SIX-MONTH CONTRACT) THE OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Financial Controller to join a well-established manufacturing Company in Lincoln. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen; they will be responsible for analysing and checking the management accounts prior to submission to the Group.Supporting the Senior Management in collating and analysing company financial data as requested. THE ROLE Month end analysis of P&L expense accounts monthly management accounts Review, analyse and update monthly management accounts post trial balance Maintain platform file for Head office submission, sales value, sales volume, material costs etc Review, analyse and update month end reports such as stock, materials and expenditure, post-trial balance Point of contact for day to day departmental queries and issues Perform any ad hoc duties that may arise THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with two to five years' experience in a senior accountancy role Take responsibility for costs Excellent communications skills with an ability to judge the sharing of sensitive data at all levels and departments within the Company A professional manner when dealing with external bodies An analytical mind, being able to produce complex and sensitive reports with ease Strong data manipulation skills, again producing complex and sensitive reports Excellent IT skills with ability for continuous keyboard / PC use Knowledge of office equipment and Accounts software Key Words: - Financial Controller, Accountancy vacancies Lincoln.
