Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with a local client seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Working within a team of 4, you will be reporting into the Head of Accounts and supporting with the below duties:
• Responsibility for accuracy and completeness of Purchase Ledger
• Responsible for accurate TB, control accounts & Month end close files
• Liaison with payroll bureau re changes in staffing & salaries payable
• Quarterly VAT, intrastat & EC sales lists reported to relevant authorities
• Ad-hoc reports & duties as they arise
• Cashflow, input payments into spreadsheet as appropriate This is a great opportunity to join a thriving team and take ownership of the above duties. Experience of working as an Assistant Accountant would be beneficial but not essential.
