Holden Jones is proud to be partnering exclusively with this prestigious organisation based in Windsor as they look to recruit a versatile and experienced individual for this 12-month fixed term contract. This is a varied and challenging role that encompasses a number of elements of transactional and general accounting duties as the business goes through a period of change and will cover for different members of the finance team. Initially, you will look after accounts payable, supplier statement reconciliations, credit card receipts, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, calculation and submission of VAT returns and assisting with the treasury operations. However, during the course of the contract, their will be the need to step up and take some of the month-end responsibilities from the Financial Controller during their period of absence. Therefore, you will need to have prior exposure to the management accounting cycle. Additionally, there is going to be a new system implementation and as such you will need to demonstrate adaptability in using a variety of accounting packages as well as very strong Excel skills. Ideally you will be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified although this is not essential. You will demonstrate excellent systems skills and have prior experience of improving efficiencies and processes. You will have outstanding communication and inter-personal skills with a strong team ethic. This contract is due to commence early May so will need to be immediately available and prepared to commit to the duration of the contract
