What is the purpose of this role? We are looking to ensure best value for our customers through effective management of 3rd party spend. The Transactional reporting manager will be focusing on helping deliver excellence in our commercial performance management. Core accountabilities are; Support our cost transformation programme with daily transactional reports across each business unit that include; Purchase order approvals and rejections by authorisation phase New and changed value of purchase orders Confirmation order volume and reductions Analysis of transactional data and quality assurance to enable the successful measurement and progress tracking of the Cost Transformation Programme This is important role and by its nature will touch all areas in Commercial and the wider business. What makes this role unique? Within this project you will have contact with all areas of the business and engage with 'C' level personnel. This is an important role which will have high visibility within the business. What will this role involve? You will be responsible for delivery of transactional reporting within Commercial and externally to the business, through development of new insightful reports, information, database management and dashboards. You will be required to proactively answer any questions from the team and the wider business through new standard reports with specific reference to the Cost Transformation Programme. You will have an ability to investigate shortfalls in performance and variance against targets, reviewing it on a daily basis to identify spend variance between reporting periods, producing summary reports for commercial and operational business leads. You will work closely with the Analytics team within Commercial Strategy and insight to systemise and automate where possible the performance reporting, and design the new robust processes to support. You will have a proven capability in writing clear processes and how to guides. What skills are we looking for? Proficient in macros and VBA (visual basics). Performance reporting and Management Information experience. Experience in developing management information through reports and dashboards. Strong attention to detail. Analytical and problem solving mindset. Good interpersonal, persuasion and and communications. Strong writing skills, able to draft polices and procedures. Salary information: This 3 month contract role is based in Reading and is offering a rate of £300 per day. Closing date is 1 April 2019
