An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Administrator to join a highly successful operation based in Abingdon, on a part-time basis (c.25 hours per week, 5 worked each day). The role is varied and will provide the post holder to significant transactional responsibilities, whilst directly assisting the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for all purchase and sales ledger postings, including reconciliations, and credit control. More specifically, you will have responsibility for: - Matching purchase invoices to delivery notes, raising purchase orders, producing payment runs - Maintaining debtor balances and producing monthly statements - Credit control, chasing outstanding monies, sending statements, raising credit notes, raising sales invoices - Daily bank reconciliations in multiple currencies - Reconciling petty cash - Checking and posting all expense claims - Assisting with VAT returns, EC Sales, EC Stock lists - Administrative tasks when needed Candidates will be expected to have prior transactional accounting responsibility, and be prepared to work five hours per day, Monday-Friday, with start and finish times having an element of flexibility.
