Adjacency are partnering with an independent business with an impressive client base, as they are looking to recruit a finance officer who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the finance function. The duties will include Sales and purchase ledger processing, customer reporting, credit control, bank and customer account reconciliations, nominal ledger journals, VAT returns, assisting with the end of year process. Providing regular management information reports giving the team the detailed information they need to make important strategic decisions whilst supporting the rest of the team on internal projects to ensure timely delivery. You will report directly to the finance director but receive regular support from the companies' external accountants ensuring your skills develop and your responsibilities increase over time. This business has big growth ambitions, therefore, you need to be motivated and driven to work in a fast paced and changing environment. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or part- qualified with experience working in a similar role. A good understanding of Sage and Excel is preferable.
