A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join RWH Travel, one of the UK's leading tour operators as the Finance Manager. The role is focussed on providing support to the Finance Director with emphasis on the delivery of financial controls and managing the Finance team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately within correct timelines. Much of the work is undertaken independently and requires the job holder to take direct responsibility for it. A high degree of discretion is demanded of the job holder due to the confidential nature of much of the work. The specific duties and responsibilities include: Production of timely accounting information including: Monthly management accounts. Year-end accounts & statutory returns. Annual Budget Budget reporting issues monthly, showing variance to plan Fixed Asset register Administration of the company's cash reserves. Payroll processing & reporting VAT reporting Liaison with HMRC & external service providers as necessary. Undertaking various administrative & compliance functions: Supporting the role of Company Secretary dealing with numerous trade & statutory returns including CAA, ABTA, Companies House, FSA, National Statistics etc. Administration of the company's commercial insurance matters and leaders travel insurance scheme, liaising with brokers and underwriters as required. Responsible for management of The Walking Partnership scheme. Any other duties which may be required from time to time. Finance Manager | Finance | Accounts | Payroll | Finance Controller | Controller Benefits 20 days paid holiday, rising to 25 days after 5 years completed service. Death in Service - 4x basic salary. Pension of 5% employers and 4% employees contribution. 50% Private Medical cover contribution. Essential Skills Good administrative and communication skills. Strong level Excel and Word skills. Experience and understanding of managing an accounts department. Understanding of payroll processing and knowledge of personal taxation system.
