Im proud to be working exclusively with a company who has recently moved to Basildon and are now looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join them on a contract basis. The offices are amazing and this role will be working with a strong finance team, reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This role will look after the management accountant production for one of their companies and will involve all the transnational duties on top. The role will encompass the following: - Prepare month end board pack including: P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow - Analyse the financial data at month end - Maintain Nominal Ledger spreadsheets and balance with Sage. - Update accruals and prepayments for UK companies - Calculate inter company recharges for hosting services and other recharges - Maintain fixed asset register - Calculate and prepare VAT returns for submission for all UK companies - Ensure the VAT on the car fleet is in line with UK VAT legislation - Monitor and update the P11D benefit provision - Calculate the annual PSA liability - Supervise and train other members of the team as required - Assist in the preparation of the annual accounts - Assist with the preparation of the year end audit file - Monitor the aged debtors and assist Credit control for Cloud when required - Prepare cash flow forecast for individual UK companies and the Group -Assist the Financial Controller as and when required, with ad hoc duties.
