Directly responsible for supporting the sales team in the development of commercial pricing and recovery strategies to optimise margin improvement. My client is looking for a highly analytical skill set possessing proactive project management skills and the ability to take the initiative by building strong relationships with all departments of the organisation.
Salary:
£30,000 - £38,000 depending on experience Some excellent benefits including 26 days holiday a year, onsite parking, study support for AAT / ACCA / CIMA, life insurance and matched pension contribution. Main Job Purpose You will partner directly with sales, finance, manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure accuracy of analysis. Critical to this position is the ability to solicit and incorporate plant, innovation and design into the sales and pricing process. Working with the Global Commercial team you will develop key account pricing strategies and requests for proposals. Job Roles Review of product costings for all European countries; recommend changes where required Deliver customer price recommendation for European Beverage business; liaise with Country Sales Managers to ensure pricing is consistent across accounts Support the Commercial Manager for all Internet Tenders, RFI's RFQ's Analysis, review and consolidation of European Beverage Sales Plan and SBD Sales Consolidate monthly sales reports for all European entities Management of monthly sales forecasting; ongoing refinement and updating of the process Utilise existing profitability reports and develop new and improved reports to review customer profitability in detail across the European Beverage Sites Create reports for tracking of customer price changes Provide analysis of opportunities for customer margin enhancement Maximising price opportunities; management of European selling price changes Management of customer single price mechanisms Maintaining and standardisation of customer pricing files Maintain and track pricing recovery by account Person Requirements 2 Years Board / Industry experience (Preferred) 3 Years Manufacturing Finance experience (Required) Professional Part Qualified (Preferred) 2 Years of cost experience in manufacturing environment Proven experience in pricing analysis and cost estimating High level of computer skills in excel and other Microsoft related applications Prior experience working with external customers a plus Ability to travel up to 15% within Europe This is an opportunity not to be missed and a role in which you can shine with your professionalism and proficiency.
